Day 152: Lunch Time

Clara decided to bask in the sun for a little bit before eating her lunch today.

Day 151: Dress Ups

Clara's neighbors Adilyn and Lincoln were over playing.  I heard Adilyn and Clara discussing which dress ups they wanted to wear.  After deciding what each would be, Clara said, "And Lincoln can be the ballerina!"  Sure enough, Lincoln proudly came prancing down the stairs to show his mom and I his dress up costume.

Day 150: More Pics

One good thing about becoming a high risk pregnancy is that we get to see a lot more pictures of our little guy.  Here are the latest from today: (left to right) foot, profile with mouth closed, profile with mouth open.

Day 149: Tuckered Out

After a busy morning of visiting 4 different cemeteries followed by a bbq, Clara fell asleep in the car on the way home.

Day 148: All Girls

We had a Sunday dinner with some friends of the family.  All the girls hurried and ran to the table when it was time to eat so they could all sit together.

Day 147: Garage

On rainy days like today, I was so grateful we have a garage; especially since I had a lot of groceries to carry in....

Day 146: Artists

Clara and her cousin (who is 2) were coloring.  After looking at Kaycee's drawing, Clara said, "She's not an artist like me."

Day 145: Book

Clara learned about money this week in Preschool.  During the week, they got to earn money and then pick out something to buy at the end of the week.  Clara picked out this book and hasn't put it down since.

Day 144: Grass

Our grass grows weird in this one spot of ground.  The left is always enormously tall and the right is always half dead....  (Yes these pics are of the same spot of grass....)

Day 143: Pictures

Clara draws at least 10 pictures every day.  And of course, if I try to throw any of them away, she gets offended that her "art" isn't worth more to me.  So one night I had Jeremy throw away a lot of her pictures that were cluttering our house.  Even though I told  him to throw them away in a garbage can that she wouldn't look in, he picked a different one....  When she found them, she dug through the garbage to pull them all out.  She then asked why someone would think they are trash.  (At least she thought it was a mistake....)  And then she started talking to all her drawings saying, "I'm so sorry you were thrown out.  Daddy didn't mean to.  Don't worry, I'll protect you so you won't ever be thrown away again!"

P.S.  I threw them out in a better garbage can as soon as this picture was taken.

Day 142: Beach Umbrella

Day 141: Ensign

So I almost forgot to take a picture today, hence the slightly random picture.  But most Sundays, Jeremy and I read a few talks from the General Conference Ensign.  It blesses us more than we will ever know.

Day 140: Party Decorations

Clara decided to have an impromptu party.  These are the decorations that she put up in her room for it.

Day 139: Izzy the Pirate

Clara was watching Jake and the Neverland Pirates this morning and decided she wanted to be Izzy.  She was devastated that I didn't have any real pixie dust for her to carry around in a purse....

Day 138: Picture for Baby Brother

So I have to post 2 pictures today.  It's the front and back of the picture Clara decided to draw for Baby Brother.  She was trying to draw leaves, but she decided that they looked like dinosaur footprints instead.  And since boys like dinosaurs, she filled the entire sticky note with them.

A little while later she came back in and had filled the back with hearts.  When I asked her why she drew hearts (she often claims that boys don't like hearts,) she said, "Because I love  him."

Every since we found out we were having a boy, she just says that she hates baby boys.  So this was a huge relief to me that when he actually comes, she'll most likely decide she loves him rather than hate him.

Day 137: Leaf Collection

Clara wanted to make a leaf collection, so I let her go out into our back yard and collect as many leaves as she wanted.  We then taped them to this piece of paper.

Day 136: Preschool is Over

As soon as Clara walk in the door from Preschool, she drops everything at the front door.

Day 135: Coo Coo Clock

We got to spend the day with a friend while our car was getting new brake pads.  Clara LOVED watching her Coo Coo Clock

Day 134: Lost Tooth

My nephew lost his very first tooth when we were there!

Day 133: Sleep Over Remnants

We had another family sleep over in our basement.  I forgot to take a picture of the fun the night before, but here is what I got to clean up the next morning.

Day 129: Movie Night

Jeremy and I (along with Jeremy's brother and his wife) all went to see The Avengers.  Clara was excited to get to watch her own movie with her cousins while the adults were gone.  This is what we saw when we got back.

Day 128: B-Day Party Loot

Day 127: Dr

Clara has decided that she wants to be a Doctor when she grows up so that she never has to go to the doctor.  So she pretends she already is one any chance she gets.  Here she is using water as medicine, and a syringe to take it.

Day 126: Tyler

Tyler Egbert (the one on the right) received his endowments today in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple, and I got to be there!

Day 125: Glucose Test

I had to drink this today before my Dr. appointment....  It was fruit punch flavored, and I don't even like normal things that are fruit punch flavored!  Glad it's over!

Day 124: Twinkie Car

For snacks at preschool, they made cars out of Twinkies and chocolate covered pretzels.  Clara wasn't happy when I wanted to take a picture of the cute snack.

Day 122: Pictures

I usually get pictures developed when Costco does their $.09/print deal.  However, I kept missing it and found that it had been over a year since I got any photos printed.  So I was determined not to miss the deal this time around.  I made it, but since it had been over a year, there were 163 prints!  It took me 2 days to get all those pictures put into the album!
