Day 365: Bottle

Joseph can now hold his bottle by himself!  (He still drops it a lot though.)

Day 364: Feet

Joseph doesn't use his hands to play with these toys.  He uses his feet!

Day 363: Math

Day 359: Snowman!

Ever since the first real snow fall, Clara has been desperately wanting to build a snowman.  We were too busy to build one that first snow fall, and by the next day, the snow was too hard to form balls.  So we waited and waited for another snowfall.  Of course the next one came when we were super busy with Christmas things.  I made sure I took Clara out though and made one with her in between all the festivities.

Day 357: Friends

We had a lot of friends playing in our back yard today.  I love my neighborhood!

Day 356: Neighbor House

I know, another house picture, but it's the only one I took today.  Since they are now building the 3rd floor, it's harder to watch it be built.  Even though I'm still fascinated with the whole process, they are now at my eye level and notice me peeking out the window.  For some reason, I get embarrassed and don't watch as often.

Day 355: Wrapped

I've had my Christmas shopping done for quite a while now, but finally got around to wrapping them all! I can't wait to watch them get opened.

Day 354: Snowmen

An old friend made these for us for Christmas.  Clara has taken them over and they are never found where they go... :)

My sister's kids got to come play today.  Clara loved having them over!

Day 352: Christmas Goodies

I made suckers this year to give out to our friends and neighbors.  Here they are all ready to be delivered for FHE tonight.

Day 351: Aunt and Uncle

These two aren't the parents of either baby.  Their youngest is 5, so it was fun to watch them interact with such little ones again.

Day 347: Like Mother Like Daughter

Clara had me close my eyes because she wanted to show me something exciting.  She led me to this:

She organized her magnetic doll clothes.  She allowed me to play with her, but I had to choose the items in the order put: first choose a bottom, then a top, then accessories.  She was so proud of her organizing skills.  (Oh what have I taught her....)

Day 346: Neighboorhood Meeting

I felt to political as I headed to a neighborhood planning meeting tonight.

Day 345: Smile

My wonderful friend's twin boys are turning one soon, and we got to attend their first birthday party.

Day 339: Growing-Up

I decided that Clara is old enough to walk to a friend's house by herself.  It's just down the sidewalk, on the same side of the street as our house. She was so excited to be such a big kid.

Day 338: Band-Aid

Clara wanted me to draw a smiley face on her band-aid.

Day 337: More Concrete

I watched them for 2 hours putting up all the sides, then filling it with concrete.  This pictures was taken a few days later when all the siding came down.  Why am I so fascinated in construction?  Maybe I should have become an architect like I wanted to in Jr High....  :)

Day 336: Sunrise

I'm up before dawn a lot these days, so I decided to take a snapshot of the sunrise.

Day 335: Builders

After watching the construction on the house next door, Clara and Lincoln decided they wanted to be builders too.  So they "built" Joe's toys.

*As we were watching the construction, Clara asked me where the blueprints were.  I swear she's too smart for her own good.

Day 334: Room

I spent 3 hours today converting my sewing room into Joseph's room.  They were one in the same since he's was born, but I decided it was just getting too crowded.  So after several trips up and down 2 flights of stairs, this is what our middle bedroom looks like.

Day 333: Games

Clara, Lincoln, and I decided to play Sorry.  Too bad both of them got bored long before anyone got a guy into Home..... 

Day 332: Christmas Shopping Done

This foundation has actually been in for a few days, but since it was Thanksgiving, it hadn't changed much....

Day 323: Christmas

Our house is officially decorated for Christmas.  Jeremy and Clara got to put the ornaments on the tree.

Day 322: Construction

I love that Clara watched the construction out the window for a very long time.  I figured she wouldn't be to interested because she's not a boy, but I was wrong.  Look forward to many future pictures as this house gets built!

Day 321: Just Looking

Clara kept putting her hair on Joe's face because she liked watching him squirm.  When I asked her to stop, she said, "I'm just looking."

Day 320: Reading

Clara was so proud of herself that she read this long story.  When  I showed her what she got to read, her eyes got really big and you could tell she didn't think she could do it.  But I coaxed her by telling her she just had to read it one word at a time.  She took a deep breath and did it!  I'm so proud of her!

Day 319: Cages

Clara loves to dump the stuffed animals out of their buckets and use them as cages when she pretends to be an animal.

Day 318: Mustache

Clara decided she wanted to play with her hair during scripture study and prayer.  (I'm sure my laughing and taking a picture didn't help with us teaching her she needs to be reverent.)
