Day 91: Sleepy
We watched my sister's youngest 3 kids during the Sat morning session of Conference so that she could take her oldest two kids to the Conference Center. When I got out of the shower, I found my niece like this.

Day 90: Failed - Again
I was extremely busy today and even though I had the camera with me all day, I ended up not taking a single picture.....

Day 89: Hunger Games
I had big plans to take a picture of our group in front of the movie poster, but when I got home, I realized that I hadn't taken a single picture! There were 13 people in our group and we had a blast!

Day 86: Wind Storm
My neighbor called me at 7:50 this morning to let me know the wind was blowing away our slide. She very nicely offered that if I would just open our garage, she would put it in there for us. I quickly rushed outside to help her. The wind was so strong we could barely push the slide to the garage. We also found my swing set blown over, and witnessed several garbage cans being blown down the street. We helped as many people as we could, but I'm sure we looked ridiculous in our PJ's running down the street chasing garbage cans! A seriously crazy morning! I found this article on the news that helps explain just how windy it was today.

Day 85: Tuba/Trumpet
Clara has found a new love of creating things with PVC pipe. Today she made a Tuba/Trumpet (that's what she called it,) and even played it for us.

Day 84: Yard Work
We put this edging in our yard this morning. We only got 1/3 of it done before we decided we had enough yard work and would finish it later. But doesn't this third look great!

Day 83: Picture
I love this picture because Clara drew it while I was visiting someone in our ward. She happened to have a cat, and Clara needed a cat in her picture; she even put the person we were visiting in her picture. On the way home, she found a random chain, that she insisted be attached to the picture as well!

Day 78: Cold!
Poor Clara was so cold she needed a blanket and mom's jacket. She then insisted that I take a picture.

Day 77: Cleaned
I didn't shower until 1 today because of me taking on this room. I got baby shower gifts done, pants hemmed and taken in, a small pile of broken toys fixed, and even boxes cleaned out and put away! Go me!

Day 72: Bike
It was so nice outside that Clara spent almost the entire day outside. She "practiced" riding her bike for about an hour.

Day 71: Treasure Map
So in Sunday School today, Clara's class talked about how Jesus's scriptures were scrolls and were shown a piece of paper made to look like a scroll so they could see what a scroll looked like. Clara decided it looked like a treasure map, so she wanted to draw one. She kept asking me to draw things for her and I finally told her she should draw things herself. When she complained she didn't know how to draw a treasure, a friend in the class piped up, "I know how!" Her friend then drew the purple squiggle at the bottom of the page. Clara brought the map over to me, and while desperately trying to hold back tears, asked, "Does this look like a treasure map?"
I emphatically answered, "Oh yes!"
Actually crying at this point, "But I think it looks like a shoe!"
"Well, how about we make the map have to walk past the shoe to get to the treasure." I then drew the treasure for her after all........

Day 70: Dress
A dress that I FINALLY made for Clara. I had bought everything to make it long before winter so she would have a warm dress to wear. Good thing it ended up being so big so that she can wear it next winter!

Day 68: Somen Noodles & Udon Sauce
I had a friend that went to Japan on her mission. She introduced me to this soup, and I've been in love with it ever since. Today I found some at the store, bought it, and had a very yummy lunch.

Day 65: Castles
Usually Clara watches TV a lot in the morning while I'm showering and getting ready for the day. This morning she didn't want to watch TV, and she was in her room for about an hour before she came running out and wanted to show me something. This is what I found.

Day 64: Hula
Clara was waiting patiently for dinner when she decided to entertain us by doing the hula. Jeremy was able to get a video of it on his iPad, and Clara had us both laughing so hard.

Day 63: Wood Chips
Today was such a crazy day that I almost forgot to take a picture. So the only thing I came up with was the fact that the scouts in our ward are trying to raise money to go to scout camp this summer. Jeremy home teaches a little autistic boy who desperately wants to go.
As a side note: the wind blows a lot out here, and so our wood chips frequently get scattered all over our yard.
So we decided we would love to pay him to gather all the wood chips from our grass and put them back in our flower bed. After 2 hours he only had the side of the house done, but we were happy to have him do a wonderfully thorough job on what he was able to get done!

Day 62: Story
Clara showed me this picture that she drew and then told me that it was a picture of her going camping. She had her 'thing that hold water,' but couldn't find her flashlight, sleeping bag, tent, or her mom or dad! So that was why she was crying.

Day 61: Location Found
I made this a while ago and have been wanting a small table to display it in my living room. I found a great deal at Savers and now my living room looks like this.
