Our neighbor often gives Clara flowers from his flower bed.  Today Clara decided she needed to plant it.  I didn't have the heart to tell her that it was going to die soon since the roots didn't get picked with the flower.....

Day 231: Oxygen

I have been waiting for a VERY long time to be able to take (and post) this picture.  Home health came today and picked up their stuff.  All of the oxygen tanks, tubing, monitors, and the rest of the junk that goes with it are gone!  Look at how nice his bed looks!

Day 230: Car Seat Cover

I went to several stores today trying to find a car seat cover that I liked.  When I couldn't find any, I started to think about how to make one.  Since I ended up with a TON of blankets, I decided to convert one into a car seat cover.  So I sewed some cute ribbon on a blanket, and I didn't have to pay anything for it!

Day 229: Surprise

Every time I go to put Joe in his car seat, I usually find a stuffed animal in there that I have to take out first.

Day 228: Joseph's Banner

This was a decoration at one of his Baby Showers and I finally got around to putting it up in his room for a decoration.  (It says Baby Joseph.)
*Yes I know it's crooked.  A few days later, I rehung it with Jeremy's help in getting it even.

Day 227: Hat

Let's just say that Clara tries things on Joe all the time.

Day 226: Doctor

I took Joseph to the doctor today for a follow up on his oxygen levels.  While we were waiting for the Dr to come in, I snapped this photo.

Day 225: Shamrock

We have choir practice in someone's house.  All the kids go down in the basement to play while the adults sing.  I came down the stairs to find Clara like this.

Day 224: Work

Jeremy  has been working form home a bit lately.

Day 223: Spencer

This is my very cute nephew, Spencer.  This weekend was the first time we got to meet him.  He's about 7 weeks older than Joe.

I love finding Clara being so close to her little brother.

Day 219: 1 Month Old

My little boy turned 1 month old today.  I am also so grateful that he's sleeping.  He's normally such a wonderfully mellow little guy, but today he went to the Dr and (as a result of a decision of Jeremy and I,) is in A LOT of pain today.  (The kind of pain only boys go through.)  He's been crying a lot, and it makes me cry every time I hear him whine.  Sorry I picked a lousy thing to do to "celebrate" your 1 month old birthday little buddy!

Day 218: Rock Star

Clara loves to play with our Rock Band equipment.

As I was feeding Joe, I looked down and saw  his hands like this....  I love how cute I think he his!

Day 216: Accessories

Joseph has too many things hanging out by his crib.  I can't wait to get rid of all the monitors, tubes, wires, oxygen tanks, and every thing else that comes with those things!

Day 215: Home

Most days I just look at my little guy sleeping and get over joyed that he's actually home with us!

Day 214: Big Sister

Clara decided that Joseph needed to be more comfortable.  So she let him use her pillow pet as a pillow and even used her special blanket to cover him up.
