Day 213: Last NICU Band

Joseph came home today, so this was the last band I will have to wear!

Day 212: Smiley Face Drawing

Clara got these smiley face stickers and I've been finding all these pictures around the house of people with stickers for faces.  (Look at the little person.)

Day 211: Tomato

So my tomato plants grew and grew while I was in the hospital, and then being too sore to do much outside.  Here are my 2 plants that I thought would never make it....

Day 210: Dresser

We got this dresser off of KSL this week.  It's now clean and even  has clean clothes in it for when ever Joseph gets to come home.

Day 209: Moon

Sorry it's a bad picture, but I've been enjoying the moon during all my late nights.

Day 208: Prints

The nurse gave these to me today - Joseph's hand and foot prints.

Day 207: Late Night

I forgot to take a picture today, but luckily I remembered on my drive home before it was too late!  I've been getting home at midnight for 2 weeks now...

Day 206: Hospital

Day 205: Wrist Band

I get a new one of these every day.  It's what the NICU uses to identify those authorized to be there.

Day 204: Carrots

Not sure how good these will taste because I left in the ground for way too long.  With all the craziness in our life these last few weeks, I neglected our garden....  But here are some carrots we pulled today!

Day 203: Pizza

Our friends brought us pizza for dinner today.  They brought Clara her own pizza that she could make herself.  It's hard to see, but she used the pepperoni to make hair, eyes, a nose, cheeks, and a smile.

Day 202: Clay Girl

Apparently Gumby is on Netflix right now, and Clara found it.  After watching a few episodes she insisted we buy clay so she can make her own clay person.  After talking about other options, she and Jeremy made a play-dough girl instead.

Day 201: Hanging Out

Clara hung out by herself for quite a while this afternoon.

Day 198: Window Bed

We have large window sills in our basement that Clara likes to use as a bed.

Day 197: Kisses

I love that NICU allows siblings to come and visit on weekends.

Day 196: Best Invention Ever

This is something that Jeremy can put ice and water in.  The water then circulates up through a hose into a pad that fits on his shoulder.  So basically he has a constant ice pack on his shoulder.  Seriously wonderful!

Day 195: Home at Last

With Jeremy's surgery and my just barely getting released, we've been hanging out in the bedroom a lot!

Day 194: Breakfast

This ended up being my last breakfast in the hospital, as I was FINALLY released at 5 pm!

Day 193: Room with a View

The view out my hospital window.  At least I got to be up and walking around the hospital on a consistent basis.

Day 192: Shower

I was finally allowed to shower after being the hospital 4 days!  Boy was that a nice change considering all the other things going on in our lives.

Day 191: Flowers

My grandmother sent me flowers while I was in the hospital.

Day 190: IV

The IV that I had the previous 2 days failed, so they tried 3 more places and finally got a new IV in my hand.

When I took this picture, I had no idea that it would be the first of SEVERAL hospital pictures...  This is a non-stress test while they were checking my extremely high blood pressure levels.

When it was time to clean up toys, Jed decided to hide.  We found him like this.

Clara getting to paint with her cousin, Molly.  There was only 1 paintbrush, and surprisingly there were not fights!
