Clara gave her first talk in Primary today and it was only her 2nd day of Primary! (Last week was stake conference.) Clara and I have known about this assignment for 2 weeks and so we've been practicing the last 2 weeks - over and over again. This is what we've been practicing as she holds up her very own copy of the Book of Mormon:
This is the Book of Mormon.
The Book of Mormon is Scripture.
Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon so we can read it.
I'm thankful I can read the Book of Mormon.
In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Clara gave her entire talk all by herself. The only words I whispered into her ear were "I'm thankful."
